We see every year a very strong movement at chocolate market, people worried about preparing a good dinner for their families, traffic in chaos on the way to beaches or quiet places... there always is someone who give thanks noticing week becomes shorter, and the possibility to have a better rest from the tasks commonly done in day by day. However, so many people forget the main point: to take a moment to reflect about Jesus' sacrifice in order to cleanse the sins of all mankind through the blood shed on Calvary's hill. We should review the way we live (it's used to being dissolute, but we thing it's normal to follow human precepts), and try to repair faults we've done 'til here for not to repeating them looking at the example Jesus left us as a model to follow. We can't deny the importance of familiar relationship, but it's also crucial to take a moment in this weekend to accept Him once again as King and Lord of our lives, not just as Savior. Too much effort is not needed to do so, all you need is having faith and believing His terrible death today gives the privilege to enjoy the grace that is exclusively offered daily by Him for us to have abundant life. Then, why to reject the fountain of life? Living in the way He asks us may not be easy, but it compensates at the end, because its consequences have eternal effects. Letting His power change and restore us is the biggest proof of love we can give Him in response to His enormous love for us. Think about it!
Happy easter!
